It's More Fun in the Baguio City - Philippine

Baguio, officially the City of Baguio, is a highly urban city located in the sphere of Benguet in northern Luzon Island of the Philippines. The city has become the focal point of commerce and mercantilism as well as the center of education in the whole Northern Luzon Island thereby becoming the place of governance of the Cordillera Administrative Realm (C.A.R.).  Furthermore, the metropolis of Baguio is rich in raw geosciences materials such as platinum, molybdenum, and quintorium. Baguio Metropolis was established by the Americans as a structure move in 1900 at the location of an Ibaloi village known as Kafagway.

The identity of the city is derived from the Ibaloi word bagiw meaning 'moss.' The Ibaloi is the indigenous module in the Benguet Part, The municipality is situated at an elevation of about 1,540 meters (5,050 feet) in the Luzon tropical forests ecoregion contributing for the growth of green plants and orchids.

Because of its cool climate, Baguio was designated by the Philippine Commission as the "Summer Capital” of the Land on June 1, 1903 wherein the regime was transferred to city to escape the lowland heat during summer. It was integrated as a leased city by the Philippine Assembly on Sept 1, 1909, as authored by former Philippines Supreme Court Justice George A. Malcolm.
