Orca Whale – the 11 million years species in the Oceanic dolphin family

The Orca Whale is one of 35 species in the oceanic dolphin family, which first appeared about 11 million years ago. People name the orca whale in different ways depending on where they live. Some people called it Killer Whale.

The Length of the Orca whale can be very long. It can grow to be 27 – 33 feet (8 – 10 meters) long and weigh 8 – 12 thousand pounds (about 4 – 5 thousand kilograms). Their mouths are big with long teeth inside and they live in the every ocean around the world. This kind of whale can swim very fast and deep in the ocean. They have seal and fish, and other small whales to be their food. In the same way as other types of whales, they feed their baby by their milk.
